Build notes

  • This dongle passes RGB and Sync video signals, as well as stereo audio between SCART and VGA. Note it does not convert H+V Sync from/into CSync.

  • The SCART fast switching/blanking voltage is preserved for compatibility, while the function switching/aspect ratio voltage is discarded for better safety.

  • There are two options to chose from as to what type of sync the device you are connecting it outputs, (option 1 will be default unless noted differently from the buyer):

    1. Attenuated 75ohm csync or (CVBS, sync on luma) choose no resistor
    2. TTL level sync choose 470ohm resistor
